網宇實體感測(CPS)3D立體建模應用於果樹生長監控──以蓮霧果樹為例

市場價格高、外銷產值潛力大的新品種蓮霧,近年雖需求增加,但氣候變遷、果農老化與技術傳承中斷,導致果樹擴張栽植速度減緩,使得產量與品質無法快速提升。因此研究團隊嘗試開發,模組式呎級的蜂群無人機隊,飛入蓮霧果園採集高光譜影像數據,進行高光譜3D建模。並藉由長期監測果樹的生長過程,使得栽植策略,如修枝除葉、灌溉施肥與噴藥防治等相關技術,透過人工智能(AI)與資通訊技術(ICT),整合數據並加以量化與精準化,協助蓮霧果實維持標準以上的結果產量與品質,有助經驗快速複製與拓展國內外高端市場。
Fruit trees possess a high economic value and play the vital role of the agricultural industry in Taiwan. The economic value of fruit trees can be sustainable over a long term because the life time of fruit trees is ranging from few decades to a hundred years. To improve the efficiency of variety and farming research of fruit trees, the team of National Chiao Tung University led by Professor Mang Ou-Yang has been developed a swarming unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) 3D modeling system. The swarming UAV can fly autonomously and shuttle between fruit trees to collect 3D stereo information of multi-field fruit trees. The system further establishes the growth process of fruit trees based on the 3D modeling technology and heterogeneous sensing images fusion technology.
